Copper foil, the Tiffany method, not heavy lead came. Every solder line is barely wider than a pencil stroke, so your eye reads glass, not metal.
Each design grew out of the glass one church left behind — cobalt from a chapel ceiling, amber and ruby from a harvest window.
Real glass lets the light travel through every piece. The colors glow from inside instead of sitting flat on the surface like printed film.
Heat is what loosens solder seams over the years. A low-voltage USB light runs cool, so the seams stay tight season after season.
A sturdy, ribbed base carries the weight low. The glass hat sits on top securely and does not want to tip when the shelf gets bumped.
